2016 Quilt Auction Results

Rainbow of Hope

Huge Rainbow thanks!

Thanks to your willingness to fill the 300 plus jobs, this year’s Rainbow raised another $42,000!  The Youth received $2200 for their help with the dinner which Miss Pat was again able to provide at no cost thanks to Conner Produce and other donations.  After 11 years, Hospice has received over $400,000 from Mountain View’s Rainbow of Hope.  With these donations, Hospice has been able to purchase 4 state of the art hospital beds and lift chairs for the Lynchburg House, they have updated the family areas in the Lynchburg House, purchased a much needed brand new SUV for safe transportation of Hospice volunteers to homes and meal pickups and just this year, used our funds to update and reopen the brand new Bedford house that was shut down just a few months after opening several years ago. The Bedford House is now waiting some final staff appointments and will then again serve the Bedford community providing end of life care.  This event is covered in much prayer and although these are wonderful results the event’s true success is offering Christ’s love to so many.

Thank you Mountain View, let’s do it again next year!
